Over the past few days, I have been contacted by a number of readers who are seeking alternatives to Tumblr due to a disagreement with upcoming changes to the site’s terms of service. These readers were interested in finding out other places and ways they could access Supper Mario Broth content. For a few months, I have been adding a list of all Supper Mario Broth sites to the attribution line on my posts; however, I feel it would be helpful to detail them once again for the benefit of those wishing to not actively use Tumblr.
The current main place to find my content on another social network is the MarioBrothBlog Twitter account. It updates daily with the same rhythm as the main site, but with different content, as I do not wish to provide duplicate content to readers following me on multiple sites. There is also the Supper Mario Broth Patreon, which contains long-form (5000+ words) weekly articles and other extended features for subscribers.
The main site, suppermariobroth.com, is using Tumblr as a back-end - but that does not mean the platform is necessary to keep updated with it. You may also use an RSS reader or your browser’s Live Bookmark functionality to subscribe to the site’s RSS feed and see updates without logging into Tumblr. The same is true for the Small Mario Findings side blog; with the RSS feed being here.
If you wish to see all of my updates across all sites in a single place, you may be interested in my Daily Transparency Report. It contains links to all posts made on all Supper Mario Broth sites in a single day, and is updated at around 3-4 PM Pacific Time. If you bookmark it and check it periodically, you will never miss a single post as all of them are archived.
I intend to continue using Tumblr as the back-end for my main site for the foreseeable future, as migrating the many thousands of posts made in the blog’s 6-year history is currently not feasible to me, so there will be no changes for Tumblr users regarding update frequency.
I hope that the above information could be useful. I’d like to thank each and every one of my readers for their support and I hope that even if you choose to leave the site, you are able to find a way to view Supper Mario Broth content in a way that is convenient to you. Thank you very much for reading.
